will be hosting a young actors workshop June 22 through 28, 2009,
at the Firehouse Theater.
This workshop/camp will be for youth ages 10 to 18.
The workshop will consist of classes, rehearsal sessions and an actual performance. Taught by STAGES Theatre Company executive director, Paul Allen.
The classes will instruct students in how to read a script, how to develop characters, voice projection, body language and movement, and much more.
The workshop runs Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm and a performance will be presented on Sunday at 3:00pm.
The wprkshop costs $150.00 per student. Some financial assistance is available. Families with more than one child enrolled will receive a discount. Only fifteen students will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
